Townsquare Interactive

We are web developers. A client came to us as they cannot retrieve a copy of their website at TownSquare Media (Interactive), and their domain name “expired” the same day as the client canceled their account (that’s a bit of a coincidence). They hired us to rebuild the same website as they were paying $300 per month and were supposed to have leads driven to their door but have not received many, if any at all. My client can no longer access their domain names and TownSquare will not help retrieve them, event though they control them. While they say the client “owns” the site, they will not provide anything but written content, no photos, no copies of the look and feel.. Additionally, they said that they “offer” to move/transfer the domain, but never lets the client know that information. I asked if they sent a notice to the client outlining what they’ll need to do in order to retain the domains and their TownSquare’s domain tech Evan, said that they are not able send notices. We then asked to speak to a supervisor, Evan claimed there “is no one else to speak with”, he is the tier one support. He retracted that later in the conversation and said he would have a manager “reach out” to me. No one has “reached out” to us. We have been calling TownSquare Interactive for two weeks as of today, 9/5/23. My only recourse is to give an accurate review on every social media outlet and maybe someone will “hear” us. Sadly they don’t respond to comments on social media, they have ZERO engagement on their Facebook page and have no interaction with their “followers”. This is a company who’s very business is providing expertise in SEO, Social Media marketing, engagements, how to respond to reviews and building websites that are “owned” by the client…(until the client leaves). Let’s hope they will put there money where there mouth is. In checking with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), there are 8 pages of unresolved complaints. Anthony was great and helped put me in touch with Joe who was not only patient, but very thorough and thoughtful and explained everything very clearly. Joe also helped set me up with Nick, who is my companies internet consultant and he, as well, was totally awesome!

They were patient with me as they helped me design exactly what I wanted. They wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and changed every little detail I didn’t like. I was really impressed with how quickly they responded back to me and how quickly they were able to design and get the invitations printed and sent to me. And it was all for a great price as well. I would highly recommend Incline Marketing Group to anyone. I absolutely loved my invitations!

Was lured away by another company offering slightly cheaper costs, and almost immediately regretted making the change. I could never get them on the phone, and their chat help was foreign based, so even that was not always available during my business hours. Returned to Townsquare after a couple of months. Customer service / tech support is always available by phone, to a domestic NC based representative. They have patiently walked me through a few issues I experienced (I changed my email hosting over to Townsquare as well). Each problem was addressed promptly and professionally. I also receive regular “check in” phone calls to see if I have any concerns or needs. I can’t say enough about the customer service these guys offer! The website they developed for me is clean and very professional. All around great company.

We are a small, local, business and TSI has increased our call volume by almost 50%. They are extremely affordable for a company like ourselves. Their staff is knowledgeable and response time quick. By far the best ROI, compared to other advertising companies. I look forward to seeing what they do for our company in the future, as they haven’t let us down yet.

In short order they have managed to get me on the 1st page of Google for several keywords, a feat that several other companies could not achieve in a much greater time period. They are attentive and receptive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to increase their web presence or upgrade their website.

I was skeptical at the beginning but I had a specific need for setting up a basic webpage for our business and the help I have received has been extraordinary. I have been working with ELEANOR WHALEY and she has gone above and beyond to support my business needs. I suggest you ask for her, you won’t be disappointed!

They limited my website to just the local area, saying I needed to prove to “Google” it was a viable company. They had taken my original website down and “made it dormant”. After I severed our relationship, they would not re-instate my original website as was part of our agreement. Townsquare has so much turnover I had 4 different agents tend to my website as my representative. I wasted my time, effort and money working with them, although the website they designed was very nice. Just no follow up or effort on their part for mutual success. Only theirs.

My business partner signed us up and I’ll admit I was pretty hesitant after seeing some of the reviews. But the website they created is awesome and our phone has been ringing none stop. We tried things in the past that ripped us off. I’m happy to state this is not the case and they actually know what they’re doing! We plan on staying with them for a long time!

Also I was told they would call me each month to go over everything; I did not receive a call just another bill. I am out $1800 for nothing. These people promise everything and deliver nothing. Save yourself some money and choose another company. Update they have now deleted the website I paid for.

AT ALL! After a few months of subscription they didn’t get me anywhere. Promised me a website I could keep but ended up taking it down. Promised me two posts on facebook but probably did 4 or 5 total over a period of a few months. Very unsatisfied and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The process of launching our new Website was made fast and smooth because of 2 of your finest professionals on your Staff. Carson Waldrop and Josh Lynch were so easy to understand and work with and relieved any of our concerns. They were on the ball, very personal, easy to reach, and did everything they promised…. and delivered! Our Website and posts look Great! A huge thank you for taking care of us!

The hardest they worked was selling me on their service. Once a commitment was made and monthly payments hitting my credit card my account was on auto pilot with very little being done. I received many calls from townsquare during my time just jamming more product down my throat when the original work I hired them for was hardly performing as it was. Buyer beware! I wouldn’t recommend them to an enemy.

Missed con calls and left me hanging. Tried to hand off a junk website they quickly threw together which I rejected. They have ultra poor SEO capabilities and skill sets. I haven’t heard a single word from them in almost 30 days, and demand a refund.

Our rep is constantly coming up with new ideas for our site so we can stay competitive. Our online presence has drastically improved since we’ve signed up. We used to pay for several outside lead sources. But since we’ve been with Townsquare we are busy enough just on internet calls, we’ve been able to turn those off. So in addition to being amazing at customer service, making you feel like you are their only customer , they are also SAVING me money.
