              If there were a decline in the number of indexed pages, it\u2019s possible someone mistakenly activated a noindex command or wrote a disallow rule in the robots.txt file.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              On a WordPress site, the option to \u201cdiscourage search engines from indexing\u201d can be found in your general settings tab. Clicking on this setting will de-index the pages on your site.<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

              If you\u2019re using Yoast as an SEO plugin, the same option exists in the advanced tab below your post.\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
