Max Prokell is the Founder and CEO of Venta Marketing, a full-service digital marketing agency with locations in Missouri, Denver, and Phoenix. Max attended the University of Richmond, where he played football and majored in Business Administration with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship. Before starting Venta Marketing in 2010, Max worked as an SEO specialist and was involved in several business ventures that lead him to true passion, which is using the power of digital marketing to help grow businesses.

Max Prokell is the Founder and CEO of Venta Marketing, a full-service digital agency with locations in Missouri, Denver, and Phoenix.

How do you think SEO has changed over the last 10 years?


Over the past decade, SEO has transitioned from an isolated skill set to a service that includes a gamut of marketing, writing, design, development, and PR strategies. The most exciting thing about the industry is that it is pushing us to be better and demands excellent work. Searchers are in more control than ever, and great SEO must serve the searcher, which at the end of the day is a person looking for a great experience.

How did you get introduced to digital marketing, more specifically SEO?


Max’s first job out of college was as an SEO intern. At the time, he was actually training for the NFL draft and landed an internship that taught him the basics and introduced him to the industry.

What are the services you provide to your clients?


Venta is a full-service agency that provides website design and development, digital marketing, and video production. We have specialists at every level of the organization, and the best projects or campaigns allow us to use the strengths of each department to create unbelievable results.

What strategy according to you will prevail in 2018 for SEO?


We will continue to see the bridge between what is considered traditional marketing and SEO, which means we need to continue to up our game because people now expect to see the same quality Online as they are used to seeing on TV, print, etc.

What would your advice be to people who are looking to take up digital marketing as a career choice?


Learn as much a possible and never stop if you do not know how to do something. Use the infinite amount of Online resources that exist and do not get complacent because this industry will leave you in the dust. Commit to excellence. The industry needs more people that understand what great work looks like and are committed to producing it.
