Ranking Overview Adapts to User Requirements

Ranking Overview Update

How To Track Keyword Rankings and Find Competitors Using RankWatch

The Ranking overview section on RankWatch has been tweaked to give a new dimension to the rankings data previously generated for your keywords.

The feature has been included to accommodate some necessary information that our users previously had to manually calculate. This will automate a process and will primarily save our users further time to strategize.

Before this update, users could manually select and choose the columns that they wanted to appear under their keyword ranking data such as Initial Rank, Search Volume, Page score etc. Although this can still be customized under the Dashboard, we have modified the same functionality on the ranking overview page where you will be able to select four (4) new columns:

  1. 7 Days Average Rank
  2. 30 Days Average Rank
  3. 7 Days Old Rank
  4. 30 Days Old Rank

This will essentially give our users easy access to two separate metrics; the average rank of their keywords and Historical ranking data for a period of either 7 days and 30 days.

Initial and Highest Ranks

The initial ranking data is something most users require once they have been on RankWatch for a certain time frame. Going back to when they initially added the project and similarly, it is essential for users to know what is the highest rank they have achieved for their efforts and aspire to go beyond that.

Average Ranking Data

Calculate the average rank for your entire keyword set and measure the effectiveness of your optimization efforts on a timely basis.

Historical Rankings for your keywords.

Check how your keywords ranked 7 or 30 days back in an instant. Measure whether you have improved your keyword positions or have they gone further down.
