RankWatch now supports Google Webmaster Tools

Why we are integrating with Webmaster Tools and how to activate it?

In 2011, Google’s announcement shocked Internet marketers around the world when they made search behavior more secure. All logged in users were switched to using httpS from http. This encrypted their search queries from being disclosed to curious marketers, Analysts and website owners who have been dependent on these results to boost their SEO campaigns.

Also, through Google Webmaster Tools, you can look at estimates at search impression against click broken down by queries. This will give you an average position for the search term.

Activating it on RankWatch

Now on RankWatch you can use Google Webmaster Tools to do 2 things –

1. Import All Keywords Via Google Webmaster Tools

On the add keywords page, Google Webmaster is used as an option to add keywords to any RankWatch project so as to track keywords. The keywords shown in it are aligned on the basis of impressions in ascending order, followed by clicks in ascending order, so the keyword which have the most number of impressions and clicks will be displayed first (i.e., the keywords which have the most effect on your incoming traffic of your website comes in first and so on) hence, the importance of tracking those keywords is also more than others.

2. Gauge impressions, clicks and CTR per keyword

RankWatch is providing users with greater information to work with, including the CTR (Click Through Ratio) of keywords. This refers to the ratio showing how often people who see your keyword end up clicking it. CTR can be used to gauge how well your keywords  are performing. You also will get to know how many clicks and impressions did the keyword get in a particular date range.
