Sales Representative (Internship)


The Sales Representative focuses on securing new business through skilled prospecting and follow-up, networking, and cold calling while serving an existing account base.

  1. Cold call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead.
  2. Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  3. Collaborate with Sales Supervisor and Account Managers to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  4. Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
  5. Ensure follow up by passing leads to Account Managers with calls to action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on.
  6. Make outbound follow up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail.
  7. Overcome objections of prospective customers
  8. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices and provide Live Demos to potential prospects

Skills & Educational Requirements:


  • Consultative selling skills.
  • Strong understanding of technical capabilities such as SEO and SEM.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Creative problem solving skills.
  • Ability to negotiate conflicts.
  • Ability to focus on specific sales and profit goals.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • High School degree required. Bachelors degree preferred.
