Poor Business Practices

We are web developers. A client came to us as they cannot retrieve a copy of their website at TownSquare Media (Interactive), and their domain name "expired" the same day as the client canceled their account (that's a bit of a coincidence). They hired us to rebuild the same website as they were paying $300 per month and were supposed to have leads driven to their door but have not received many, if any at all. My client can no longer access their domain names and TownSquare will not help retrieve them, event though they control them. While they say the client “owns” the site, they will not provide anything but written content, no photos, no copies of the look and feel.. Additionally, they said that they “offer” to move/transfer the domain, but never lets the client know that information. I asked if they sent a notice to the client outlining what they'll need to do in order to retain the domains and their TownSquare's domain tech Evan, said that they are not able send notices. We then asked to speak to a supervisor, Evan claimed there “is no one else to speak with”, he is the tier one support. He retracted that later in the conversation and said he would have a manager “reach out” to me. No one has “reached out” to us. We have been calling TownSquare Interactive for two weeks as of today, 9/5/23. My only recourse is to give an accurate review on every social media outlet and maybe someone will “hear” us. Sadly they don't respond to comments on social media, they have ZERO engagement on their Facebook page and have no interaction with their "followers". This is a company who's very business is providing expertise in SEO, Social Media marketing, engagements, how to respond to reviews and building websites that are “owned” by the client...(until the client leaves). Let's hope they will put there money where there mouth is. In checking with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), there are 8 pages of unresolved complaints.
