David James is the founder of Business Growth Digital Marketing. He helps businesses that want to grow their business by attracting new customers via Google search listings. He will consult with businesses to identify niches and develop a strategy that will allow businesses to grow their revenue through additional Google search listings.

Please tell us about yourself, where you work and your role at your company.

I am the founder of Business Growth Digital Marketing. We specialize in generating web traffic and leads through SEO and content marketing.

How did you get introduced to digital marketing, more specifically SEO?

I worked for an information marketing business in 2007 and got introduced to SEO.

What exactly the kind of work you did before you got to know about SEO?

I was doing a few businesses and working a few jobs. I knew I needed to tap into the potential of the internet marketplace and exposure. I then started to learn more about internet marketing and tapping into SEO.

How do you think SEO has changed over the last 10 years? And, how do you think year 2019 will shape up for SEO industry?

It has almost gone full circle. It originally focused on developing sites with a good technical framework and structure. And providing good content. People chased algorithms. But Google is focusing on organizing the web and giving people the best results for their search queries.

What are the services you provide to your clients?

Traffic and lead generation, and sales conversions through SEO and content marketing.

We are seeing that a lot of digital marketing companies have emerged in the last five years or so. What do you think makes your business stand out among other companies in your niche?

Actually, there’s been a lot of digital marketing companies emerging since I started doing SEO full time back in 2007. People see it as a lucrative way to earn an income. So different people and businesses tap into it by saying that they offer the service. Unfortunately, it isn’t regulated.

My team and I focus on fulfilling our promise to our customers. We do this by providing SEO consultancy that focuses on revenue growth or the growth of leads for the business. We hold ourselves accountable. We tie our services to performance where we can. And we focus on delivering.

We get referrals because people see our work and like what we do. We don’t try to schmooze our way to get a quick sale. We focus on delivering value. Clients are paying an SEO service so they can generate an ROI. This is the promise that we need to fulfill and this is how we stand out in the SEO market.

Everybody knows what you have achieved, I would like to talk about your failure stories and how they impacted your professional life. (As we know Rome was not built in a day)

I’ve had several failures. But all failures provide an opportunity to grow and learn. Resilience is a keyword that I use. Especially when I’ve had my back against the wall. But no matter what, gotta keep marching forward and creating opportunities.
