Michelle Guglielmo Gilliam, president of Point Taken Communications, has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and web design.
Gilliam is a former television producer, reporter and fill-in anchor who has worked for The People’s Court and various local TV stations.
Gilliam has also served as a producer of private conferences for the United States’ military, arranging presentation topics, booking speakers and managing profit and loss for events.
Additionally, Gilliam has overseen marketing and public relations for a variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations including natural stone fabricators, landscape designers, interior designers, retail stores, real estate agents, high-end pet resorts, veterinary clinics and animal welfare organizations. Prior to starting Point Taken, Gilliam spent five years overseeing public relations and special events for the Jacksonville Humane Society. She has also managed public relations for Amelia Island Plantation.
