Buckle Up! The All-New RankWatch Console Overview Is Here

February 20, 2025 | Feature Update

Applying multiple filters to extract simple data can be a nightmare. Let’s be honest—nobody likes an overly complicated tool. When running daily operations and managing a hundred different tasks, there’s no time to waste. What teams really need is an efficient, clean tool that provides the required data within the blink of an eye.

Since Google Search Console is one of the most widely used tools, it is time to simplify that as well. To that end, we have updated the RankWatch Search Console and given it a more defined look packed with powerful features. One of them is the Console Overview, which is much simpler than the previous version. Read on to find out how!

RankWatch Console Overview: Features To Look Out For

Making the RankWatch Console Overview sleek and easy to understand was the first step in the revamp stage—but we didn’t stop there. It also houses other cool features. Here’s a quick brief of each one and what benefits they offer you.

LARA Insights

The segregated LARA insights section is the first thing you will notice about the all-new Console Overview. RankWatch’s AI LARA, which provides AI-powered insights for the users, was earlier present in every aspect except RankWatch Console.

With the new update, you can find LARA lurking in the Console overview, offering useful insights to help your website in various ways. The AI-based data is further segregated into two categories: Positive and Negative, each giving a clear view of rankings-related insights.

Graphical Representation

The all-new Console overview also has graphic charts for proper visual representation of your website’s stats. Though numeral data is useful, visual representation helps us grasp the bigger picture instantly. These charts will help you understand whether your strategies are working or not.

The charts are categorized into impressions, clicks, average rank, and average CTR%. All you need to do is select the date range for which you want the data and the Console Overview will automatically present them as charts.

Keywords-based Data

The next feature in the Console Overview is the Keywords section. Instead of applying multiple filters to retrieve keywords-based data, you can now get it all in one place. We have pre-installed the filters and segregated the data into the top, winners, loser, new, and lost keywords.

Top Keywords

The top keywords are the ones that have received the maximum number of clicks, have good impressions, and achieved decent rankings.

Winner Keywords

These are the keywords that have seen an increase in clicks within the selected time period.

Loser Keywords

As the name suggests, loser keywords are those that have received a decline in clicks within the given time period.

New Keywords

This category refers to keywords from your website that have recently started getting recognition. Even though these keywords do not have many clicks, they receive good impressions, showing their untapped potential.

Lost Keywords

Lost keywords are those that may have performed earlier but stopped showing impressions in the selected period. Their rankings have gone beyond a hundred with zero clicks and impressions.

Pages-based Data

Similar to the Keywords section, the new RankWatch Console Overview also has a separate Pages section. To simplify, we have segregated the pages-based data so that you don’t have to apply multiple filters for information.

Moreover, we have categorized the insights into the top, winners, losers, new, and lost pages.

Top Pages

This section includes the pages from your website that have received the maximum number of clicks, ranking keywords, and impressions.

Winner Pages

The name gives it away again! Your website’s winner pages are those that are getting more clicks recently. Additionally, these pages have also seen a recent increase in impressions as well.

Loser Pages

These pages are the ones that have recently seen a decline in the number of clicks and impressions.

New Pages

Your website’s New Pages refer to the ones that have recently gained recognition. Though they don’t have any clicks yet, the impressions of these pages are gradually increasing. This shows their potential to show up in the SERPs with minimal effort.

Lost Pages

Lost Pages are those pages from your website that have recently stopped receiving clicks and impressions. Besides, these pages do not have ranking keywords either, meaning they will soon lose or have already lost their ranking credibility. You would have to put in lots of effort to revive these pages, like revamping the content, focusing on SEO optimization, adding ranking keywords, etc.

Path Level Analysis

Like the “Pages” section, where one can conduct in-depth page-level analysis, RankWatch Console has also added a “Paths” section to help facilitate a broad-level analysis.

Upon clicking on the “Paths” tab, a new dashboard containing data related to your ranking paths will appear.

The data is compiled by consolidating the combined data of ranking URLs in the ranking path and then presented in an easy-to-understand tabular format. As you can see, the tabular section contains detailed information on average ranking, clicks, impressions, etc., for each ranking path so that users can easily extract data for a specific path without going into extreme detail.

Keyword Cannibalization

The all-new RankWatch Console Overview also has a separate keyword cannibalization section, previously mixed in the filters. Since keyword cannibalization is an important metric a user needs during website analysis, putting it in the front seat would be helpful.

In the keyword cannibalization section, you will see the various keywords ranking for more than one web page, thus affecting the rankings of the said pages. To simplify, we have added several columns of important metrics to help you understand which pages need utmost attention. We have also added the ranking URL count and ranking URLs columns that show the number of URLs ranking for the same keyword and the affected web pages.

Traffic Decay

RankWatch Console’s new feature, called “Traffic Decay,” gives you a glimpse into the all-new Console Overview. It helps users monitor the performance of various web pages over time and identify ones that have seen a significant decline in traffic.

In this tab, you can find data on the maximum number of clicks a web page receives compared to the previous month’s. The clicks difference column states the loss of clicks over a period of time, accompanied by the various keywords that have contributed to this loss. Getting access to this data is highly beneficial, as it helps users make improvements to increase click rates.

Low Hanging Fruits

As the name suggests, low hanging fruit discloses potential opportunities that can help increase rankings and visibility. The all-new Console Overview contains a tab dedicated to low-hanging fruits, which discloses the list of potential keywords followed by their average rankings, clicks, impressions, and average CTR%. The rise and fall of the metrics in each column indicate that the stated keyword can bring in tons of visibility and improve rankings. These potential keywords usually rank on the second SERP page and can turn up on the first page with the right effort.

Keywords with Poor CTR%

The last feature in the Console Overview section is the “Keywords with poor CTR%” tab. Certain industry standards for CTR% help understand whether the keywords are adhering to them or not.

In the “Keywords with poor CTR%” section, we have instilled predefined conditions that disclose the keywords that do not meet the industry standards for CTR%. If you have doubts, you can always click “Show Filters” to see the set conditions and understand where your keywords are lacking. You can also edit the existing conditions or create new ones per your requirements.

The simplified structure, detailed insights, and segregated data make using the Console a cakewalk.
